Common no‑start causes (and what to do first)
A dead battery is the usual culprit, but not the only one. Here’s how we triage a no‑start at your place.
Step 1: Battery & connections
We test state of charge and the health of the battery, then inspect terminals for corrosion or looseness.
Step 2: Starter & alternator
We check current draw on start, listen for solenoid operation, and measure alternator output and ripple.
Step 3: Fuel & ignition
OBD data helps pinpoint sensor faults, fuel pressure issues or ignition problems.
